Hence, keep a track of the Mega-projects that will redefine the UAE's real estate market in the upcoming years.

The Vertical Smart Cities

Dubai's Vertical City is a futuristic city floating above the water, straight out of a sci-fi movie, designed by the Italian Architecture firm Luca Curci Architecture. The floating urban hub will accommodate approximately 25,000 residents, incorporating a zero-waste policy and generating energy through solar panels, wind turbines, and wind-water technology. Additionally, the vertical city will feature green zones on each level to promote a healthy lifestyle. The Vertical City will be approximately 750 meters tall, featuring 180 floors, with an area of around 20,000 square meters dedicated to gardens and green spaces.

The Dubai Creek Tower

Another splendid wonder of Dubai city is the Dubai Creek Tower, which is aimed to take the title of the tallest building in the world. The tower is proposed to be an observation tower, standing at an estimated height of 928 to 1300 meters. The inspiration behind Dubai's Creek Tower is the minarets of a mosque and a lily, presenting a unique intertwining of culture and innovation. The main person behind this Mega-project is the Spanish-Swiss architect Santiago Calatrava, renowned for developing the future marvels. The project is set to have a Central Plaza, a Museum, educational facilities, and an indoor auditorium.

The Burj Binghatti

Binghatti, a construction company, merged with Jacob & Co. Jewellery and aimed to create the tallest residential building, with more than 100 floors, offering two- and three-bedroom apartments for residents. Located in Business Bay, the building will present a spectacle and shimmer inspired by the beauty of jewels, offering ultra-luxury living with amenities such as an infinity pool, a premium spa, and a gymnasium. Additionally, a concierge team will also be deployed, consisting of the daycare services, bodyguards, chauffeurs, and private chefs. There is no estimated height revealed for the tower, but it will surpass the 472.4 meters of New York's Central Park Tower, which currently holds the title of the tallest residential building in the world.

The Island

A mega-project by the ambitious Wasl Group, The Island is set to be an MGM-operated entertainment and hotel district, offering visitors entertainment, luxury, and hospitality. The Island will encompass 10 hectares of land, strategically planned to be built close to the iconic Burj Al Arab, offering breathtaking views and convenient access to the city's major attractions. The Wasl Group Venture has signed a construction deal with China State Construction Engineering Corporation. This signing marks the most significant construction deal in the city since 2017, with a budget of USD 1.2 billion. The project is expected to have a considerable impact on the region's hospitality and tourism sector, attracting a greater number of tourists.

Zayed National Museum

The Zayed National Museum is a planned museum that is set to be established in Abu Dhabi. The museum is being developed by the Abu Dhabi Culture and Tourism Department to honor the late Sheikh Azed bin Sulta Al Nahyan, who was the founding father and first president of the UAE. The designer behind this, five steel wings inspired by a falcon's wings, is Lord Norman Foster. The five steel wings tower up to 130 meters tall, with 500-tonne pods installed on the building. Additionally, the Museum features 2 km of walkways, along with gardens, spanning 40,250 square meters of land.
